The Perfect Place To Relax
Located in the heart of The New River Gorge area. 'Cabin At The New' offers three bedrooms and two bathrooms on 83 private acres of wooded land. A hot tub and a fire pit are ready for you to unwind after long days on the river or at the crag. Guests also have access to the property's four private hiking trails and nascent fruit orchard, with countless opportunities to witness local wildlife in its natural habitat.
The Reforestation Project
Our family is dedicated to restoring and preserving nature around our newest National Park. The Cabin's 83 Acre reforestation project involved the planting over 1200 new foraging trees to provide wildlife a natural and nurturing refuge from modern development. The front of the property also includes a young orchard with 73 fruit trees, including apples, cherries and peaches!
Explore Private Hiking Trails
While we provide a detailed trail map for each guest, trail head markers and color-coded blazes will guide your forest hike. Wake yourself up in the morning with a brisk half-mile jaunt around the Turkey Loop Trail, or take a longer route along Hendrick's Creek to Mary's Meadow to complete a 1.3 mile circuit. If you're into the "high road", try out White Tail Uplands Trail for some steeper terrain.
